Your adventure begins the moment you land. We will pick you up from the airport and transport you to your hotel or apartment, ensuring you start your journey comfortably and stress-free. Our friendly driver will assist you with your luggage, providing a warm welcome to the rich culture and history that awaits you.
At 2:00 pm, our guide will meet you at your hotel, ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure in ”Villa el Salvador”. This district, known for its resilience and vibrant community spirit, is a fascinating example of urban development and social organization in Peru. You’ll have the opportunity to visit a communal kitchen, where you’ll learn about the local way of life. This experience will give you insight into the daily routines, challenges, and triumphs of the residents. Interacting with locals and understanding their stories will deepen your appreciation for Peruvian culture.
After an enriching afternoon, we will head to our next tour at **12:30 pm**. The excitement continues as we make our way back to Miraflores, where you’ll immerse yourself in the culinary traditions of Peru. At **7:00 pm**, you’ll arrive at our fully equipped kitchen, where a skilled chef will guide you through the preparation of one of Peru’s most beloved dishes: **Lomo Saltado**. This iconic stir-fry of beef, tomatoes, onions, and French fries, served over rice, perfectly exemplifies the fusion of Peruvian and Asian influences in the country’s cuisine.
While the Lomo Saltado is simmering, you’ll also learn to make **Causa Limeña**, a delicious dish made from yellow potatoes, avocado, and lime. This part of the tour is not just about cooking; it’s about connecting with the flavors and techniques that define Peruvian gastronomy. You’ll have fun, share stories, and create delicious memories that will stay with you long after your trip.
After a delightful evening of cooking and tasting your creations, around **10:00 pm**, our guide and driver will drop you off at your hotel. You can reflect on the day’s experiences, savoring the flavors of the dishes you made and the stories you heard.

DAY 2: GAMARRA + AIRPORT TRANSFER
Prepare for another exciting day! At 9:30 am, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel, ready to take you on a journey through one of Lima’s most bustling commercial hubs. Your first stop will be Gamarra, the largest textile emporium in South America. This vibrant area is a shopper’s paradise, filled with countless shops selling everything from clothing to accessories. As you stroll through the bustling streets, you’ll witness the dynamic atmosphere that defines this unique part of Lima.
Gamarra is not just about shopping; it’s a cultural experience. You’ll see artisans at work, hear the lively chatter of vendors, and, if you’re lucky, sample some delicious street food along the way. Be sure to try local specialties like anticuchos (grilled skewers) or freshly made empanadas. Each bite offers a taste of everyday life and flavors of Peru.
One of the highlights of your visit to Gamarra will be the Witches Market, a fascinating place where you can explore traditional remedies, local crafts, and unique souvenirs. Here, you’ll gain insight into the indigenous beliefs and practices that continue to influence modern Peruvian culture. It’s a perfect opportunity to pick up a few unique items to remember your trip by.
By 1:00 pm, we will return you to your hotel, giving you some time to rest and prepare for your departure. After a quick refresh, our driver will be ready to take you to the airport for your onward journey.
