Our adventure begins at a vibrant and friendly local market in the Surquillo District. Get ready to taste a variety of exotic fruits sourced from every corner of the country.

Of course, we cannot leave the market without savoring Lima’s most iconic dish: Ceviche. On this tour, you will experience a unique version: Ceviche with Cushuro. Known as “Andean caviar,” Cushuro is a nutrient-rich algae found in high-altitude Andean lakes and was considered a sacred delicacy by our ancestors.

To top it off, we will enjoy a delicious Causa Rellena, a classic dish made from silky yellow mashed potatoes and filled with fresh vegetables and shredded chicken.

With a wide variety of flavors—including steak, seafood, poultry, and excellent vegan and vegetarian options—there is truly something for everyone. You have no excuse to miss this gastronomic experience!

After tasting different samples of food in the earlier market, we arrive at Surquillo Market. Its reputation is well-known among people who have a great interest in rainforest food and fresh exotic fruit juices. Plus Netflix choose this trendy disctrict to organized a food tour circuit as its documentary shows. So, this is a great opportunity to try delicious “Juane” or “Chaufa de Cecina”, typical dishes from the jungle of Perú! prepared with authentic and organic ingredients from the Amazon🔥.

Get ready to have one of the most amazing experiences, full of surprises, trying the flavors of Peru along the way, and listening to the history behind the different dishes we try along the tour.

3. Hole in the wall restaurants / street food:

The idea of this tour is to make you be part of the vibrant local culture and local traditions when we have to try our local cousine, for this reason we have to take you experience our food from the Pacific coast 🌊, the Amazon rainforest!, and off course the powerful Andean mountains.

We well sumerge you to visit those hole in the wall restaurants all locals love, be ready to walk among foodie locals, colorful streets and probably loud neighborhoods but with amazing exotic cousine, even the chili is tasty!.

On this walking tour you have to come hungry then you will deserved to get our local desserts which are a completelly different experience you will forever remember.
