1. Pachacamac’s Pyramids Tour

• This site was a very important oracle during Inca times. The name is Quechua and means “Earth’s Creator.” Pilgrims traveled here to visit and give thanks to the creator. Pachacamac was also a site of sacrifices and offerings to Mother Earth, where natives celebrated large festivities in honor of the gods. Walking amongst the pyramids, the panorama is surreal. You will see huge ancient constructions, long Inca trails, and giant pyramids. We will take you to the top of the main pyramid, known as “The Sun Temple.”

  

2. Shanty Town Tour

• This is an eye-opening experience that challenges common preconceptions about underprivileged areas. You will have plenty of interaction with the locals and children. Remember, over 80% of Lima’s population lives in areas like this. Take a walk up the famous “yellow stairs” and along narrow roads, visit a local kindergarten, a silverware workshop, and meet the friendly families of this welcoming community. The town’s immense size and breathtaking views are impressive for any visitor.
