Overview
We will visit Chan Chan, the largest adobe city in the Americas, built by the Chimú culture and spanning 20 square kilometers. Enjoy a one-hour tour exploring its palaces and royal remnants. Then, we’ll continue to the ancient fishing village of Huanchaco, one of Peru’s most famous beaches. Here, you’ll observe the traditional caballitos de totora, reed boats still used by local fishermen, a practice dating back over 2,000 years to the time of the Moche culture.

Chan Chan
We will begin our tour with a visit to Chan Chan, the largest adobe city in the Americas, built by the Chimú culture and spanning 20 square kilometers. During a one-hour guided tour, you will explore its impressive palaces and royal remnants, offering a fascinating glimpse into this ancient civilization.
Huanchaco
Next, we will continue to the historic fishing village of Huanchaco, one of Peru’s most famous beaches. Known for its relaxed atmosphere and rich cultural heritage, Huanchaco offers a unique experience of Peru’s coastal life.
Reed Boats
In Huanchaco, you will have the opportunity to observe the traditional caballitos de totora, reed boats still used by local fishermen. This ancient practice, dating back over 2,000 years to the Moche culture, continues to play an important role in the community’s fishing traditions.

The maximun group size for cruise ships clients will be maximun 20 people per tour group.
