DAY 1: WELCOME TO LIMA
- Arrival in Lima, our professional driver will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel.

DAY 2: ALL-INCLUSIVE HIGHLIGHTS OF LIMA TOUR
- 9:00 AM – We begin at Morro Solar in Chorrillos, offering panoramic views and a brief introduction to Peruvian history.
- Next, we visit Barranco, Lima’s bohemian district, to explore its main square, the Bridge of Sighs, and colorful street art.
- In Miraflores, we’ll stop at the Park of Love, admire ocean views, and stroll through Kennedy Park, known for its friendly cats.
- Then, we head to a local market in Surquillo to discover native fruits and learn about Peruvian gastronomy, followed by lunch at a traditional restaurant.
- In the afternoon, we explore Lima’s historic center, visiting San Martin Square, the Main Square, and the San Francisco Catacombs.
- We finish with a quick visit to the Inka Market for souvenirs.

DAY 3: DEEP PERU TOUR: PACHACAMAC + SHANTY TOWN
- 9:00 AM: This eye-opening walking tour offers a deeper look into the daily lives of the majority of Lima’s population. At Haku Tours, we aim to show you the real Lima.
- We’ll walk up the famous yellow stairs, explore charming narrow streets, and visit a local kindergarten, silver workshop, and friendly families from the community. The scale of the area and the stunning views are sure to impress.
- Next, we head to the ancient site of Pachacamac, once a powerful Inka oracle. Meaning “Creator of the Earth” in Quechua, Pachacamac was a sacred place for offerings and ceremonies, including human sacrifices. We’ll explore Inka pyramids, wide trails, and climb to the top of the Sun Temple for a breathtaking view.
- This tour offers rich history, authentic cultural exchange, and a unique perspective on life in Lima.

DAY 4: WELCOME TO IQUITOS!
- 7:00 AM – Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Iquitos. (Recommended flight: LA2240 – 9:45 AM departure)
- Arrival in Iquitos – Our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you in comfort to the town of Nauta, with a lunchbox provided en route.
- Nauta Port – Upon arrival, you’ll receive a VIP welcome at our private port on the Marañon River, where your luxury vessel, Delfin, awaits.
- Embarkation & Suite Check-in – Settle into your elegant suite, equipped with orthopedic beds, fine linens, air conditioning, a private terrace, and a full bathroom with hot water.
- Orientation & Navigation – Enjoy panoramic views from the third-deck observation lounge as your naturalist guide introduces the cruise itinerary, local wildlife, and highlights of the Amazon region.
- Ucayali River Exploration – In the afternoon, begin wildlife spotting along the Ucayali River. Look for exotic birds and playful monkeys as you take in your first breathtaking Amazon sunset.

DAY 5: KNOWING UCAYALI RIVER
- Morning – Yanallpa
Early skiff ride along the Ucayali River to spot parrots, macaws, raptors, and other birds at sunrise. A peaceful and colorful start to your day. - Afternoon & Evening – Dorado River
Search for hoatzins, sloths, and monkey troops. At sunset, spot caimans, night monkeys, and bats—a true Amazon night adventure.

DAY 6: PACAYA SAMIRIA

Morning – Pacaya River
Explore the heart of the Pacaya Samiria Reserve, the largest protected wetland in the world. Navigate through flooded forests, lakes, and palm swamps, and visit a pristine Amazon lagoon—a true natural wonder. -
Afternoon – Magdalena
Ride the skiff through narrow rainforest channels to spot toucans, woodcreepers, and jacamars. Near Flor de Castaña, enjoy a refreshing swim with pink dolphins—no need to fear piranhas, their fierce reputation is largely a myth!

DAY 7: YARAPA RIVER

Morning – Yarapa River
Explore a hidden Amazon lagoon along the Yarapa River, rich in birdlife and monkeys like pygmy marmosets, squirrel monkeys, and the elusive Monk Saki. You’ll also see local river communities—an essential part of this vibrant ecosystem. -
Afternoon – Fundo Casual
Hike through terra firme rainforest with your guide, on the lookout for anacondas, boas, tarantulas, poison frogs, and possibly even a two-toed sloth. Every step reveals something new in this biodiverse paradise.

DAY 8: AMAZON FOREVER & GOOD BYE PERU!

Morning – Disembarkation
At Nauta Port, say farewell to the Delfín crew. Our private vehicle will take you back to Iquitos (approx. 95 km). -
Visit – Amazon Forever Rescue Center
On the way, stop at the Amazon Forever center to meet rescued baby manatees and other animals. Learn about their conservation and the threats they face. Donations are welcome. -
Airport Transfer
At the Iquitos Airport, our staff will assist with check-in and boarding passes for your return flight to Lima. -
Flight to Lima
Depart Iquitos and arrive in Lima, where you may connect to your international flight.
If you wish to extend your stay in Lima, let us know and we’ll gladly arrange it.
