ITINERARY DETAILED
Day 1: Welcome to Lima! Peru’s capital is waiting for you
- Our professional driver picks you up from the airport in Lima. (please let us know your flight details).
- You will have the rest of the day free to rest.

Day 2: Lima City Tour + Birdwatching & Landscaping Tour
- Around 8:00am we will pick you up from your hotel to start our adventure.
- At 🕐 8:30am we will be arriving “EL OLIVAR PARK” in San Isidro, which is known for having the oldest olives trees in Peru.
- Just on this park we will be able to watch more than 20 species of birds like Vermilion Flycatcher, Goldfinch, Amazilia Hummingbirds, etc.
- Around 🕐 10:30am we will visit another park called “PARQUE BICENTENARIO” in Miraflores. It has become the perfect home for many, endemic and migratory birds like Mocking birds, Shiny Cowbird, Red Crested Cardinals, House Wren, etc. and also, for different kinds of butterflies that fly around enjoying the nectar of the flowers.
- We will take you to a beach called “LA HERRADURA” in Chorrillos around 🕐 12:00pm, where we will see endemic and migratory birds like Inka Terns, Gray Gulls, Oystercatchers, Sanderling birds, etc. They rest, nest or reproduce in our green coast.
- After this adventure we will take you to a local restaurant to have lunch.
- Around 🕐 2:00pm we’ll continue to the historical center. Here we will show you palaces and castles our city hides, then the Saint Francisco Monastery, the impressive underground catacombs, “The Main Square”, the City Hall of Lima, the Cathedral, “San Martin Square”, “De la Union Pathway”, and more.
- Finally, we will take you back to your hotel around 🕐 5:30pm

Day 3: Last Little Wildlife Refuge in Lima Tour + The Best Highlights Tour
- 🕐 Around 9:00am we will pick you up from your hotel to start our tour in this natural paradise.
- We will explore the deep lagoons which are connected to Rimac Rivers hydrological system. Through it, a wide variety of reeds, swamp plants, fish, reptiles, aquatic insects and more than 170 bird species.
- You will enjoy the view while hear your guide telling you the names and anatomy of the unexpected and beautiful critters.
- your guide will take you to a nearby beach and lagoon area. End your tour in reverie and relax beside the Pacific Ocean while hearing the majestic ocean waves and more bird species soaring above.
- 🕐 At 12:00pm we are going to take you to a local restaurant to have lunch.
- After our lunch, we will visit Chorrillos district around 🕐 2:00pm to go towards the historical “Morro Solar” (300 masl), where an outstanding view will be waiting for us and we will be able to learn about the history of this spot and Peru in general. Then we will visit Barranco, which is the smallest district of Lima. We will visit the “plaza”, the romantic and mysthical “Puente de los suspiros” and a lot of murals full of art.
- After that, we will be in Miraflores, we will visit “Parque Del Amor”, we will have a panoramic view of the Peruvian sea, “Parque Kennedy” and more.
- Finally, around 🕐 4:20pm we will visit a local market in Surquillo district, where we will have a fruit tasting of native and exotic products brought from different regions of Peru (Coast, Andes and Amazon).
- At 🕐 5:20pm approx., when the tour ends, we will take you back to your hotel.

Day 4: Palomino Island + Monumental Artistic Callao Tour
- 🕐 Around 9:00 am our driver will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the Callao Dock.
- At 🕐 10:00am approx. Once we arrive, our tour guide will be waiting for you there, ready to give you the instructions for the experience.
- After 30 minutes, we will embark and depart our trip to Callao Islands.
- At 🕐 11:00am we will surround the San Lorenzo, El Frontón and Cabinzas Islands by sea. During the tour we will observe sea birds, Humboldt penguins and sea lions.
- We will be arriving to Palomino Island around 🕐 11:30am, place where an important population of sea lions lives. We will be able to swim with these incredible and friendly animals, of course at a suitable distance, prior supply of neoprene to the traveler.
- Around 🕐 12:15pm we will return to Callao.
- At 🕐 13:00pm we will be back to Callao Dock.
- Our other tour guide will be waiting for you there to take you to a restaurant to have lunch together.
- Our tour will continue through Callao district, where we will visit the amazing Real Felipe Fortress, a well-known military building that prevented pirate attacks at the time of the viceroyalty in Peru.
- We will be able to appreciate its art too, a modern place full of colors, music, kindness and happiness.
- Around 🕐 5:30pm we will take you back to your hotel.

Day 5: Peruvian Cooking Class + Local Market Tour & Exotic Fruit Tasting + Pachacamac’s Inka Pyramids Tour
- 🕐 Around 8:30am we are going to start our Cooking Experience.
- We will take you the local market to buy all the fresh ingredients and to know how is the local seller normal day.
- You will have to choose which option would you like to cook; we have 4 different and delicious dishes:
- OPTION 1: FISH (Ceviche and Pescado a la Chorrillana), OPTION 2: CHICKEN (Causa Rellena and Aji de Gallina), OPTION 3: MEAT (Papa rellena and Lomo Saltado), OPTION 4: VEGETARIAN (Solterito and Pimiento Relleno).
- Once we have everything, we will go straight to the kitchen with your tour guide and chef around 🕐 9:30am.
- We will try the fruits we bought in the market and then we will start cooking. Of course, we will try everything we cook.
- Around 🕐 12:45pm after that we will take you to the most important sanctuary in the central coast of southmerica. Scientists recommend to visit Pachacamac first, as an introduction to the Inka culture and before going to Machu Picchu, so you will understand better the inka traditions, engineering and philosophy.
- You will see huge pyramids built in mud brick, Inka trails, Inka Palace, Green Valley which is the last valley of Lima city, The Sun Temple pyramid, impressive ocean view and foot hill of the Andes and more!
- Finally, around 🕐 4:30 pm we will be returning to your hotel.

Day 6: Goodbye Lima!
